I created SecureWords Password Dice because I wanted to give everyone - not just tech experts - a simple, low-tech way to protect themselves. No apps. No subscriptions. No confusion. Just a smart, secure method anyone can use to stay safer online.

I’m not very tech-savvy. Will I know how to use this?
Yes! If you can roll dice and follow simple instructions, you can use this. No apps. No software. No confusing setup. We designed this to be safe and simple.
How will I remember the passwords?
We provide 3 different password storage recommendations, ranging from 0 tech (a notebook) to some tech.
Ultimately, how you choose to store and remember your passwords is up to you, and a personal choice.
We provide descriptions of the 3 recommended storage methods in the instructions that come with your kit, so you can make the right choice for you.
Why a notebook? Why not just store my passwords in a browser?
Our kit include a notebook so you can organize your new passwords. When used as recommended, this is an alternate method of storing passwords for those who may not feel "techy" enough to figure out browser storage methods.
Password managers are great - we recommend them. Bitwarden is a great free option. But they rely on cloud storage and trust in third-party tech. The Secure Password Dice notebook gives you full control, offline.
Isn't rolling dice slower than using an online password generator?
It might take a few extra seconds, but you don’t have to trust a website or app. Just roll and go. Plus, it’s actually kind of fun (and more secure).
Can I use this to create passwords for all my online accounts?
Absolutely. From your email and bank to your Netflix and Wi-Fi—this tool works for any password you need to create.
How do I know the password is strong enough?
Each dice roll creates a completely random combo from a one-of-a-kind set. No two sets are alike, and the method produces high-entropy passwords that are both strong and usable.
Allow us to geek out for a moment:
The entropy of a password is a measurement of how difficult the password might be to guess. Passwords with higher entropy are harder to guess, and passwords with lower entropy are easier.
Passwords generated from SecureWords Password Dice contain anywhere from 19 to 35 characters, where these characters could be upper- or lower-case letters, symbols, or numerical digits.
Since the results of die rolls can be placed in any order to form the password, then there are approximately 1.4 billion possible sequences. This yields an entropy up to 213.06.
